We are a few years shy of retirement age and are spending the next couple of years deciding whether to sell our home and move into either a condo or smaller bungalow. We need to downsize eventually and our current home is a lot of work. We'd like to spend our free time travelling and enjoying life.
Are there different rules of what can and can't be done with the condo depending on which condo you buy? Are repairs to the building usually a separate expense from the condo fees?
