It is not reckless if you are prepared. I make sure my buyers get pre approved, that they have already checked out neighborhoods, schools, styles and know what they want. In this market with a shortage of homes, it is important to make quick offers. You as a buyer are protected through the home inspection contingency as well as the mortgage contingency.
