I am new to the area and would love some local recommendations on great places grab a bite to eat. I am open to any kind of dining experience and any cuisine.
I prefer a more casual atmosphere, but a recommendation for a special night out would be great, too. I don’t mind traveling for good food so I’m not limited to a particular neighbourhood.
So far I have tried Nuburger and Little Bones Wings which were both excellent. With so many choices, it’s hard to narrow dow

Thanks Liam…..Those are nice places.
We recently went to Segovia Tapas Bar on 484 Stradbrook. Quaint little place, with excellent food. The servings are small, almost appetizer size, which is the idea (I think ‘tapas’ means small servings). VERY tasty.

I have to agree with Bo’s recommendation of Segovia. A few of my friends treated me for my birthday and the food was delicious! If you like tuna, they have a tuna dish that is truly amazing, as was everything else. The nice thing is that you order a bunch of items and it is meant to be shared. The atmosphere is great, too! The night I had dinner the crowd was mostly young professionals.
Also, thanks for the list, Bo! I have wanted to try Velvet Glove for some time now. Actually, there are a few restaurants you listed I have not tried, so I will definitely be checking them out!

Thank you both so much for responding! Segovia is definitely on my list, but thanks to Bo’s list I now have a few others as well. I tend to dine out a lot because of business, plus I also hate to cook. When I relocate, the worst part is finding a new “favorite”. Having a “bad” dining experience is such a waste of time and money. I appreciate the input from others to avoid those bad experiences whenever possible.

I've read the list and can tell you that Hy's is a good restaurant, although on the pricey side. If you like steak, and I do, it's really tasty and worth the price. Bo's list is a good one, some I haven't tried. Thanks Bo.
